About NUS Piano Ensemble

Founded in 1987, NUS Piano Ensemble (NUSPE) began as a group that concentrated on solo works. Gradually, NUSPE started to explore works for duets and duos, which form the current core of the repertoire. Today, NUSPE has grown into a dynamic and professional classical music group.

NUSPE is a place where NUS students get the opportunity to grow as piano ensemble players. Our repertoire consists of works from a wide range of composers - from Haydn to Britten. And although classical music forms the main bulk of our music, NUSPE has experimented with a variety of performance musical styles. This includes collaborations with other instruments and the visual arts as well as delving into jazz and contemporary music.
